Senior Adult Ministry

Jesus commanded that his disciples, which includes senior adults, are to be taught to obey everything he has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).

The importance of senior adults to the church, the community and the world cannot be overstated. Senior adults often have much wisdom, life experience, time, talents, spiritual gifts and treasures to be used for God’s kingdom.

We have a great opportunity for spiritual growth and ministry for senior adults as they are the fastest growing demographic in our culture.

The purpose of the Senior Adult Ministry is to equip those 60 years of age and older in LifePoint’s Five Core Priorities, which are: worship, grow, connect, serve and share. These priorities are the foundation of everything LifePoint does and helps us as a church to fulfill the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ to every church.

The Senior Adult Ministry is led by Pastor of Equipping Tony Guinn. Those involved in the ministry include those approaching 60 and older and those who enjoy doing ministry together with senior adults.

This equipping primarily takes place in classes taught by Pastor Tony and in individuals or couples meeting with Pastor Tony.
