Men's Breakfast: September 13

LifePoint's Men's Ministry meets for a breakfast and devotional on the second Saturday of every other month at 8:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Cost for the breakfast is $5 per person. Check the calendar for upcoming dates.

Men's Fall Study: Respectable Sins

Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. starting September 17

We will be exploring the book “Respectable Sins” by Jerry Bridges. The book asks the question, “Have we as Christians become so preoccupied with the major sins of society that we have lost sight of our need to deal with our own more subtle sins?” Bridges addresses several clusters of “acceptable” sins that we tolerate in ourselves (e.g., jealousy, anger, judgmentalism, selfishness) in a way that helps us learn how to deal with these sins by realizing our need for the Gospel every day of our lives.

Hog Roast: September 27

The annual Men's Ministry Hog Roast will be on Saturday, Sept. 27. Come for a time of yard games and fellowship starting at 11 a.m. with lunch when the hog is done cooking! Along with a meal and games, there will be a time of teaching. Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 24, to Hearl Herrod (herrodautomotive@sbcglobal.net) or stop by the ministry booth in the Commons to sign up.
