Jym Shorts - November 17, 2022

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” - Romans 10:14-15

For the first two-weeks of November a team of five men (Gary Bopp, Greg Meadows, Ken Hansen, Mark Hansen, and myself) served alongside LifePoint’s missionaries to Cameroon (Chris, Rachel, Ava, Hallie, and Joshua Hanson). It was a privilege to serve alongside these men and these missionaries. There is far too much to share in a short column here today.  I will share a bit more along with some photos during our Thanksgiving service next Tuesday evening. Suffice it to say, the Hanson family has sacrificed much for the sake of the Name, and their ministry is both faithful and fruitful. Our missions dollars are being used wisely there, and the work of the gospel is advancing. Following are a few photos that will give you some idea of how ministry looks among the Baka people of Eastern Cameroon.

Please join us next Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm for our annual Thanksgiving Service. As previously mentioned, I will share some joys and items of thanksgiving from the mission trip, and we will hear from Sasha and Olga Skrypak, our missionaries to Ukraine, as they share their own testimonies of God’s faithfulness in leading them to Christ.

As always, I believe it will be a wonderful evening of corporate thanksgiving!

Grace and peace,

Pastor Jym
