Nate Gast
Pastor for Discipleship
Nate has been a part of our pastoral staff since August of 2010. Previously he was the Assistant Principal at Covenant Christian High School where he spent 11 years teaching subjects ranging from Bible to History to Advanced Fitness and Psychology. He also coached baseball, basketball and tennis along with all of the weightlifting.
Nate attended Taylor University where he met his wife Kiersten. They were married in 1999 and have four daughters: Madeline, Abigail, Emma and Isabelle. Recently, Nate also obtained a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Nate enjoys playing sports, cycling, backpacking and reading.
Nate’s primary responsibilities at LifePoint include College Ministry and overseeing Adult Discipleship which includes Plan & Promise, Fellows and Hermeneutics. He also shares preaching and other pastoral responsibilities.
