Life Groups

What is a Life Group?

Life Groups serve as a means of discipleship for LifePoint members and attendees.  Small groups of individuals meet together at least twice a month based on a common belief in Jesus Christ.  Life Groups allow for deeper relationships to develop as members challenge each other to grow in their walks with Christ by examining God’s Word.  They share struggles, encourage and uphold each other in prayer, and learn what it means to be truly knit in fellowship with other believers.  Life Groups provide a means for us to fulfill the command to make disciples, teaching them to obey everything Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).  Everything that Christ has commanded us to do fits into the priorities of Worship, Grow, Connect, Serve and Share.  The structure of our Life Groups, based on these five priorities, therefore enables us to teach and apply everything Christ has commanded us to do.

What are the Life Group connecting points?

Worship: To honor Christ by meeting together regularly to share in prayer for one another and others.

Grow: To develop a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ by studying God's word with a view toward life application.

Connect: To establish relationships within the church family growing out of our common faith in Jesus Christ.

Serve: To provide opportunities for members to serve and care for one another as they participate in life together. Life Groups often share in outside ministry projects as well.

Share: To provide opportunities to reach out with the gospel to the unsaved. Life Groups are a good opportunity to introduce unbelievers to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
